Acura RSX Type S goes 13.9

My 2002 RSX-S at Englishtown Winter warm up 2/28/09. Ran a 13.942@101.45. I/rh/e/rbc/kpro. 160k on the motor and on street tires.
The car has since gone 13.805@102.

RBC intake manifold. Its the manifold off the 06+ civic Si. Has longer runners so makes more HP up top

thanks man! I already have a k24 block waiting to get built. Just deciding whether or not to stay NA or go boost. BTW since then ive gone 13.85@102. now 169,000 miles on the motor

@surfnguy0822 Correction rbc has bigger shorter runners than the prb.

I thought the difference in power peaks was due to the cams? If longer runners makes more power high end, why would people add those individual throttle bodies for more high end? Those basically eliminate the manifold and provide a direct charge. IDK though, I'm no mechanic, just an RSX owner, lover, driver, racer, dam thats quick. You on drag radials? My best is a 14.75@97mph on all season michelins.

sweet dude, heck go boost.. put like 5psi to start with and then do some research on how much psi the motor can hold, i'd say about 9-10 :D.. wanna know something funny, my 1984 crx pulls 13.2 with a d15a3 carb (stock motor) so trust me that beauty you got there can do some speed :)
