Hok San Lion Dance Performance

We do not have a coach. We had to learn everything off of video. We actually copied a lot of the movements off of other teams we saw on youtube. Some people may criticize us for doing so, but my opinion is that to learn off of video shows our level of motivation, the style was not just given to us on a silver platter. We need a lot of work, but we are not just a lion dance school like many teams. The kids in the video train in Kung fu 6 days a week and Lion Dance only on Saturdays. So, people if you want to leave negative comments, please keep in mind that you are a reflection unto your Sifu. We invite any criticisms as long as they are constructive. If you just want to leave a comment saying "You guys are messed up" then you need to get a life. Respect.

In terms of constructive criticism

The head players need to lean there body forward to a 2 oclock position. The reason being the head players stomach becomes the lion's chest. If the head payer stands too upright it destoys the animal shape.

The tail players need to flatten their back as the arch detracts from the shaping of the lion. they should aim to get the back of their head lining up with the head players waist and it should rise no higher.

@lvshaolin I think you should omit the words "Hok Shan" in the title, just "Lion Dance Performance" would be more suitable, since one of the lion is actually "Fut Shan", I mean the far left one on the screen at the beginning of the video!!!
