Been playing about 4 or 5 months now. This is based on the version in Ken Perlman's book "Clawhammer Banjo".

  • is there a capo on the neck? if so, why?

  • Yeah cuz it's a longneck banjer and it's a harder ta play without da capo.

  • Wow, I wanted to feel inspired be4 I take my banjar out to the river,(1am) found your tune here. Nice! Had my head bobbin and feet a dancin'! Nice "feel" you give the tune.

  • Thanks! Glad you liked it.

  • were you pickin with your fingers on your right hand at all? it all looked like thumb-work.

awesome job though, nice and dark!

  • Thanks. I use my middle finger and thumb on my right hand. I'm working on getting a better hand position (I tend to let my hand open up too much).
