  • Any filler should not be thicker than the gelcoat it self, you can get away with filling a small chip or air void but that's about it ! Checkout my tips page

  • Hi...I am not familiar with the term ride plate? Gelcoat should not be applied more than 3/32" thick, If the product is fiberglass and gouged deep it should be ground and fiberglass laminated to avoid a reoccuring damage then fared in with marine filler to reach it's perfect shape.

  • Hi im curious to know, if my boat has a hole in the hull somewere, could i patch it up with fibreglass filler after cleaning down the surface abit. ?

  • i blew a 1 foot section of the lip that the ride plate seals up to.can i use gelcoat to build that lip or should i use something else?
