This second clip I've posted from the classic movie, The Wizard of Oz, shows us another important lesson.

We may spend much of our lives searching outside of ourselves...for the things that we already possess, and which are only found by stopping...and taking a look within...

"What lies behind us and what lies ahead of us are tiny matters compared to what lives within us." - Oliver Wendell Holmes

Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate, our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure.

It is our light, not our darkness that frightens us.

We ask ourselves 'who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous?'

Actually, who are you not to be?

As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others.

- quote by Marianne Williamson

"nor will they say, 'see here!' or 'see there!' For indeed, the kingdom of God is within you." - words of Jesus Christ, in Luke 17:21

I hope you receive as much inspiration from this video clip, as well as from the quotes above, as I have.

  • This is by far my Mum's favorite movie. If she's ever feeling down, I just pull a Cowardly Lion quote, with close impersonation, and it brightens her day almost immediately. Classic and beautiful story about being comfortable about who you are. A shame most children today have never even heard about the Wizard of Oz.

  • Thank you for reminding me this beautiful and simple truth :)
