when i saw pleo it was like my dog that die when it was a puppy it bite my hand and when it grow up it like to play with me and i always feed him a grillrice every day until one day i come back to home i try to find boodoo and i ask my mom where is it and my mom said it was died i am so sad that i buy a flower and put it on where is voodoo was get embed ;(

@cmcclure0712 Yeah, it's a robot. They do learn and mature as you play with them, (from hatchling to juvenile stage), and you do have to feed it (with this little "leaf" that comes with him), and he does take naps sometimes, especially if you cuddle it.
The only downsides people see are that it's battery life is kinda short, and the price tag is phenomenal.

@cmcclure0712 Each Pleo comes with a training leaf that it can pretend to eat, and they sleep when turned off or when the battery dies. Yes, it is a robot.
