  • Glad your back. I thought you were gone, then all of a sudden, 100 videos in my Sub box.

  • If this is the fire on Fairway in Riverview, the family was indeed home and they had to flee for their lives.

  • sucks they left their pet to die

  • @rivefire Maybe they teach things different in Canada. Personal Saftey always comes before everything else, you're not going to do anyone any good by being dead yourself. I never said to not ever go into a structure, but that roof was already coming down when they were starting in. If you break out every single window you don't have controlled ventilation.

  • @ksff286 I see from your site you are NOT a firefighter , but a guy who chases accidents and tornados with a camera, which is fair. I will paste YOUR own words ... appropriate - I am very intolerant of ignorant people that make themselfs try to look like kings of the world when they are little more than the dirt we all walk on every day. If you don't know anything about something, don't talk shit like you know what you're talking about. (not my words !!) Amen ! Couldn't have said it better

  • Sir..I would hope you are not a firefighter, if you're concerned about "entering a structure if you are putting yourself at risk" or "too much air on a fire will always leave you running". A 71 sec excerpt of a 3 hour operation; not always in context. 35+ years as a firefighter, senior officer ...textbook of offensive/defensive and offensive fire ops. No injuries, damage to exposures ( fires do spread !) and no injuries...& Vent in video...nobody's in building ! We know what we're doing ....

  • @rivefire Where is your life saftey priorities? Don't even attempt to enter a structure if you are putting yourself at risk. I understand the fact that the building needs to be vented, and that there is a need for rescue and evacuation, but what's the purpose in that if it's already so involved? All that you're going to do is get people killed. As far as venting - there is a difference between a controlled and uncontrolled vent. Too much air on a fire will always leave you running.
