@achilles7 When I started smokeing me & my bro would take a dime here and there from moms change and for 60 cents we could get some cheap cigs,I think mallboro was $1.10 or $1.50. Money was hard to come buy when we were 10-13. I can't remember what they cost in 1978 because I was on the army base & they were allways cheaper there.

@achilles7 I had purchased an 8oz bag of reg tobacco,not pipe tobacco. I was able to roll smokes w/my T2 with no troubles. I was told the only diff between pipe & cig tobacco is the cut,they put more tax on the way it's cut. This may be true but I'm haveing an awfull time useing my T2 with pipe tobacco. I thought I could add a little of each,a mix and it started to jam,or not fill the tube all the way,ect.

@MrScrappydue good on you mate. I hope all smokers can find alternative means to get good smokes for cheaper. I'm only 24 and when I started smoking, cigs were around $3 per pack and are now almost $6 per pack here, in chicago they are over $10. things are ridiculous, Even major cig brands said theyd sell for under$2.50 but it's all the gvmt taxes they keep adding on
