good color film. Man those P-47's can take a beating. they were kind of the underdog during WW2. Just like is the A-10 Thunderbolt 2 it was a flying tank.

Gun camera footage is fascinating to me to see what the pilot sees and to watch those bullets streak to their targets. The poor bastards on the ground getting punished by multiple .50 caliber impacts has to be disheartening.

Dogfights the legend of Y-29 (Youtube) shows the P47 and P51s going after the hundreds of German aircraft. This is a powerful, tough bird. Thanks for posting good job!
