is it anti-republican because frontline usally talks to the horse mouth in other word the very people involved in the deal, whats upsetting is it that they deal in facts not propoganda!

Another one-sided, anti-Republican, anti-Free Market documentary from Frontline. How surprising. An example of the one-sidedness is the absence of the studies that show that "payday" lenders (even at their high APR) are a better deal for poor people than paying NSF fees.
The futility of micromanaging government regulations is demonstrated in the closing remarks in the film. Businesses will always figure out a way to comply with the government regulations and make money at the same time.

I watched this and it will piss you off, man. I love Frontline and Bill Moyers, but they don't do my blood pressure any good - that's for sure.

@smujismuj The best thing to do is NOT have a credit or debit card. That is the best way to stick it to snakes like the pusbag in Texas in this documentary. They are no more than carnies in $5,000.00 suites. Piss on 'em! I have never had the need for a credit card in my life. People still respond to real money, and besides - why would I want to pay four-times the price for something I can't afford today anyway?

the main point in gaming is bluffing - not "the game" itself.

I can hardly wait to watch this. Another must watch "Frontline" episode, to be sure! If not for "Frontline", I doubt we'd know what the... let me say "heck"... the foxes in the henhouse have done and are still doing. God, I love "Frontline". Thank you PBS.

Whenever my credit card company overcharged me, I threatened to switch to another company.
I have switched several times.
The best thing one can do is find a local bank or even better a credit union.
Get to know the president of the bank.
