The Cathelic Chruch got rid of the 2nd of the Ten Commandments so they could make money out of the religious figurines and could not stop their distribution. It stopped people translating the bible from hebrew by making you a heretic to do so. Tyndale translated the text and was accused of being a heretic and spent over a year in prison, he was then strangled and his body burned. What a wonderful religion! Aren't we glad they are no longer in charge?

@imax1971 Simplest answer. No one. The NT was widely copied and transmitted throughout the old world that it was impossible to control its spread so that if any error crept into the text then all you have to do is compare it to all the other manuscripts. This is why we are confident that we have the original NT as there was no controlling authority over the texts.
As for the OT, the Dead Sea Scrolls show that they too have been faithfully transmitted down the ages :o)

Thank you for posting this very informative video clip of the bible and roman catholic conspiracy to corrupt it. It has opened my eyes much, much wider as to the amazing extent of their conspiratorial efforts to undermine the truth of God's word. The good news is that God is omnipotent and in the end, it is He who wins over the evil intents & plots of the catholic church.

@kiwichristian2009 It doesn't really, catholic church is ALL about works of the flesh, not standing in the victory of christ. The small flock Jesus talks about is clearly NOT the catholic church, also, watch out.
Jesus knows His people, his children
Romans 16:17 I urge you, brothers, to watch out for those who cause divisions and put obstacles in your way that are contrary to the teaching you have learned. Keep away from them.

@electricbouguereau Wrong again. The NKJV has not ignored the TR at all. Please give me one example of the NKJV translating from the "Critical Texts" instead of the TR...
-
@skellys3 I should be more specific I suppose: the NKJV has ignored the Textus Receptus (TR) in over 1,200 places due to also comparing it with 'critical texts' as well as the TR.
Quick question... Who preserved the sacred texts at the time?...

If the Bible is a Catholic book, why does it nowhere mention the Catholic Church? Why is there no mention of a pope, a cardinal, an archbishop, a parish priest, a nun, or a member of any other Catholic order? If the Bible is a Catholic book, why is auricular confession, indulgences, prayers to the saints, adoration of Mary, veneration of relics and images, and many other rites and ceremonies of the Catholic Church, left out of it?

@kiwichristian2009 The Bible is NOT a Roman Catholic book. Did you misunderstand what this video is about? Did you watch the video?
