@derban yes you can look at what Kakashi is and has been through but what if we take a look at the opponents he fought. First there's an exhausted Kakashi after fighting Itachi with about 40% if not less of his strength and deidara who didn't had to do much. Then there's Kakuzu who's stronger one on one. And pein with just one body (his best body though) was enough to kill him. On the other hand there is Kisame who lost to team gai with 40%, defeated KillerBee (without A) But Closely lost to gai

@Thejordlord23 you obviously dont know kakashi much -.-" Kakashi is a Freaking Genius he wont use just raw force to fight . yes Kisame has the chakra of a tailed beast and is sword is apart of the seven legendary sword no shit he is a formidable foe but Kakashi is a complete ninja. also he is the son of Kanoha's White fang who is one one Kanoha's best ninga, he was a student on minato who is the fourth hokage, been through a shit load of battles and he was the next sure bet for the 6th hokage

kisame would win, he can manage to fight TEAM guy with half of his chackra and if guy and kakashi are rivals (wich equals them) I can't see kakashi beat the whole team guy like kisame did

I'd have to say Kisame. Kakashi is just a jonin, while kisame is at tailed beast level (stated by Chojiru at the five kage summit)...

@EndSage I personally think that kisame would win. Kisame fought team guy with half his chackra. and with over 4 times kakashi's chackra and with samehada that drains chackra from kakashi. and in Naruto lightning beats rock and rock beats water. so when kisame turns the area into water then kakashi is elektrocuting himself.

@AndreiSfirleaDragomi sorry to say but kakashi has the mangykou sharingan and a lightening element. kisame has a WATER element. if kisame made water and is swimming through it. all kakashi needs to do is use raikiri on the water from a distance or make the lightening hound like he did against pain on the water. so kakashi would win

I'd have to give the fight to Kakashi. People reference how well the Kisame clone did against Guy at only 30% chakra. The thing is though, chakra doesn't always represent speed and strength. He would have been able to use many more techniques and jutsu but I don't think that would translate into a win. Kakashi is a better technical fighter compared to Guy and would be able to get around Kisame's jutsu better. It wouldn't be easy and he might even get mortally wounded, but Kakashi would still win

that's not true, at the time Kisame is fighting Gai,lee,neji and Tenten only at 30% cof his chakra. You can't count that as an actuel try fighting them. So if we have to scale it Kisame would own gai at full strenght and Kakashi aswell.
