(4) 700 people per hour were flown out of the airport; a total of 20,000 evacuation slots were provided by air
(5) Medical teams were on site to assist with the evacuation of special needs individuals to 2500 special needs slots across the state
(6) Mandatory evacuations before the storm hit
(7) Interstates were turned into one-way exit avenues; 900 state police and National Guard secured the freeway exits and to help anyone with vehicle breakdowns
(8) Zero blaming of President Bush
(9) Final death toll: 16 (vs. 1,464 under Democrat Governor Kathleen Blanco)

Did you know that the entire country is in a recession and that in every state, people are becoming unemployed?

Except for one state. Guess which state was the ONLY state out of the 50 states to ADD jobs in December 2008? It added 3,000 new jobs.

And what happened to New Orleans as a result of Gustav? Virtually nothing. Picked up people, shipped them out, sent people to congested highways, the stupid mayor said we'd be experiencing "The mother of all storms" -- all that to do it again and again and again. P.S.
