Please read ALL the NEW posts here as they seemed to be scattered around and not in order. I just wanted to clarify I do not want to see your name get ruined one day and I mean this advice as friendly advice. I mean no disrespect to you or your business. I'd hate to see someone get hurt so my intentions are well.

Did you even read my replies ABOVE? I answered your credential question but you asked me again? I never said you was a bad person or put you down. I have doing hypnosis for over 15 years. I studied in Vegas under 'Jerry Valley. I also have studied under many top names as well. I always tell anyone I see doing this old hypno trick from the 60-70's to stop because it is dangerous. My friend's friend had someone die because of a similar stunt. I do not do this in ANY of my shows.

I am a certified Stage Hypnotist and also a Certified Hypnotherapist. I have been doing hypnosis for over 15 years. I know of Stage hypnotist who got his wife killed using similar techniques. Ask any of the top Stage Hypnotists in the world who have been doing this for years & they will tell you it is a bad thing to do.

Again if you have had good training then you should have been taught that anyone in hypnosis is the same as not in hypnosis as far as how much weight they can handle on their body. It is ok to do the stunt, but do not sit or stand on them. Just show the rididness. This can be done without hypnosis too so it is another reason I never use it in my shows.

When I started in '73, I had studied Dr. Dean in San Diego, Pat Collins in Hollywood, Richard St. Charles in Pasadena, CA, and a few others. ALL did the bridge, but Pat didn't stand on...because by the end of her shows, she was too drunk to get up there.

This is one of the most unprofessional things a Stage Hypnotist can do. A person in hypnosis cannot take anymore weight than they can outside of hypnosis. Standing on someone can seriously injury their back, stomach, ect and is very bad to do. This can be done safely as long as no one stands or sits on the person. Very unprofessional to put weight on the person & dangerous!

Are you a hypnotist? Do you actually know of anyone ever hurt by having this done? What are your credentials to make such a statement?

There has been people who have been seriously messed up because they had a bad back and the hypnotists did not know it. Why even chance doing something so unprofessional is my point.

Do you personally know any of those "hurt" people? Again, WHAT ARE YOUR CREDENTIALS TO MAKE SUCH STATMENTS? And another point, if you read the text, you'd know that I haven't been a practicing stage hypnotist for decades, and just this once, four years ago, I did the stunt for a TV show. That was my wife I stood on! I ALWAYS asked beforehand if they had any back problems at all. I did it hundreds of times and NEVER had a single complaint. NEVER! So who are you anyway? I'd really like to know.
