The Haunted Mansion, Disneyland. Summer 2009

This came out pretty good. The shot looking back at the empty hallway is there because it's one of my favorite sections of the Haunted Mansion, and, it was eerie to see it so very empty on a super-crowded Summer day.

This footage is assembled from three different times through. I'm going to do a "Prankish Spirits" version as well. One of the times through the ride stopped numerous times, and there was an opportunity to get some pretty good shots of the ballroom.

@ChicanoTattooArt Yeah, it was pretty awesome. It was very crowded that day, to make it even more eerie. If you check out my "Pirates of the Caribbean" video, you'll see in my description that it was the same way. Really crowded tourist season day, yet I was in a boat all by myself.

Right at the beggining if you look to the right of the mansion and down, just above the green light, what is that?

Paul Frees was a master of voices, including Ludwig von Drake in several Disney television shows.

His voice has been heard at many Disney attractions. He was the narrator in "Great Moments with Mr. Lincoln", and "Adventure Through Inner Space". In addition to providing the voice of the Haunted Mansion 'Ghost Host', Mr. Frees also supplied voices for Pirates of the Caribbean. the original movie, The Thing.

He was the narrator for the 1953 War of the Worlds.

Noticed something at 1:36. There are windows in the area were he hanged himself. If he can get up there why didn't he just go out a window?

My favorite effect in the entire park is at 7:15. The piano playing shadow looks incredible every time.

This is actually one of the easier rides to get on at disneyland. At least for me anyway. Also the haunted mansion at Magic kingdom is slightly different. Once you leave that cylindrical room where the pictures extend...you get straight on the buggies, although you go through the same hallway
