I just bought a fair trade item at Costco the Wholesome Sweetner. A sugar that contains no pesticides, bleaching, or any other chemicals. Therefore it is organic, and my mother just used in her famous date candy she makes every year during the holidays. It is the most delicious batch, and I highly reccommend others to support in little ways such as I have for these farmers :)
