How much pollution results from PLANNED OBSOLESCENCE?
Galbraith mentioned the planned obsolescence of cars in 1959. But most economists aren't saying anything about that today. They also haven't discussed how much consumers have lost on the depreciation of that garbage designed to fall apart.
