People like Peter Schiff most likely make there money on toxic assets and market speculation. People like him don't produce a tangible product of a stable assert. I think Peter Schiff is fear mongering. His prediction are based on speculation. He is a money manager. He has nothing to lose in this economic climate. However his clients have lot to lose without Obama's economic initiative. Trading inflation for depression is better for his clients in the short run but not good for him.

At 2 minutes, 20 seconds into this C-Span video clip, Rep. Paul Kanjorski of Pennsylvania explains how the Federal Reserve told Congress members about a "tremendous draw-down of money market accounts in the United States, to the tune of $550 billion dollars." According to Kanjorski, this electronic transfer occured over the period of an hour or two.

Hilarious that the idiot voice is implying that if Obama won, Peter thinks that things will be bad.

The truth is, that Schiff believed that it didn't matter if McCain or Obama wins, things will be bad.

Schiff asked every one of his clients to donate $2300 to the Ron Paul campaign. I was one of the few that actually did.
