@Annette11155 you can use a large jewelry bead and move it with a poker like Wallace and Gromit. Another method I use is sculpting out the eye, placing vaseline on it, and then sliding a pupil made of paper or clay on it. You'll find that method in a lot of stop-motion as well. I've heard of glass eyes being used such as in Return To Oz but I'm not sure how you would go about doing that. I hope this was helpful.
