activists are met with physical violence such as clubs and mass-arrests by para-military riot armored police: pepper spray, clubs or batons, man-handling and masses of police vans
a young Danish person on the front line - a pepper spray victim - reminds me that it wasn't just full time professional activists at the front lines demanding Climate Justice.
Normal, ordinary people from all walks of life, on inside and outside of the COP15 wanted to the Peoples Assembly to happen
the fact that the cops stopped the Peoples Assembly with oppression makes the Danish establishment look extreme and self-sabotaging
not only was the internal process failing, they ensured the outside democratic process outside would fail
instead, they compounded there own failures by projecting oppression outside
its a sign of desperation
ps the pepper spray lasts for days, and have seen a number of people with swollen eyes and faces
And another anti-cop15 protest got ended violently. You dont see anything like this, or anything at all, happening to the people protesting on behalf of climate change. What i don't get is why this doesn't ring a bell with anyone. Clearly they don't want the protests that actually tell whats going on to spread their message, and they are being ended more violently every single time, now they used their batons and teargas already.. I wonder when LRAD will show up, would have expected it by now.
