This is part two the tutorial and results of my two toned twist out.

After my co-wash and mud mask deep conditioning mask I styled my hair in a two toned twist out.

The results came out a little different from when I first tried it on dry hair.
1. The dry twist out experienced less shrinkage
2. I ran out of honey blonde hair spray this time and the color was not as obvious

The trick I use to elongate twist out and braid outs on wet/damp hair is to stretch each twist and clip at the root. I experience tighter curls at the root.

I challenge everyone to get into colors this summer they are super fun and it's cheap and temporary. Just remember to deep condition before using Temp'ry spray. It contains ingredients that may dry out your hair if you do not protect it first!

Shea Yogurt Hair Moisturizer could be purchase at blackonyxworld.com
I love this stuff and it last a very long time!

After my co wash I styled in a Two Toned Twist out using Shea yogurt hair moisturizer (blackonyxworld.com), Garnier Frutis Anti Humidity styling lotion and Jerome Russell Temp'ry hair color/spray (honey blonde)

  • lovely video i love the highlights!!!

  • @sesamestreet90 Thanks I need to try them again. :)

  • Your hair looks very pretty! Did you ever have a TWA? If so, can u suggest products for a "small" chop? ( I already wear my hair short and relaxed, but I have not done a touch up in about 2 1/2 months!!!!) nervous :-/

  • @kleap41 I had a twa.. i used Cantu Shea butter then. Now having a bit more experience i'd suggest a jar of pure shea butter, Shea Moisture products from Target, a great conditioner, deep conditioner and leave in conditioner, a good sealant like coconut oil and your best friend a spray bottle filled with water. Don't be nervous.. before you know it that twa will be a baa (big ass afro)! :)

  • your hair came out Salon Perfect.

  • @Joyfullexpressions I ran out of spray so it was less blonde than the first time. Thanks for watching.

  • @theneeneenetwork Estelle - "Come Over"

  • what was the name of that song when you showed your results>

  • @beautybynajah LOL.. I'm silly that way. But I love this idea for spicing up natural hair without permanetly dying. It doesn't last long but the one or two day results are great! Thanks for watching! <3
