Uhuru ranked 26th among Africa's richest

A new list of Africa's richest people places Uhuru Muigai Kenyatta at number 26. That means the Deputy Prime Minister is considered the richest man in Kenya and the whole of East Africa. The list by the respected Forbes magazine also ranks media magnate Chris Kirubi as number two in Kenya and number 31 in Africa. But as Robert Nagila reports, businesses with multiple ownership and those whose sources are not clear, were not included in the ranking.

I would like to know exactly how this wealth was attained. That's all. As he goes with to IMF begging bowl in hand. And there's no land for IDPs, no money to pay civil servants, he can't pay his taxes, people are dying of hunger, 'computer errors' in the finance ministry. @JOYCE6912 I am not supporting Uhuru cos he is a kyuk like me, I just hate the way people always try to put the sins of his father on his shoulders. This clip was also misleading, in that he is singled out as from the Kenyatta clan to own everything. Also according to the Forbes magazine's rich list, it excluded dictators who have gained their wealth through corrupt ways. If dictators were 2 be included, the magazine noted, Arap Moi and Obiang Nguema of Equatorial Guinea would have top the list.

@kanyaugatiejagwo ati only in Kenya tribalism exist?? ever heard of Nigeria where some people use their 1st names to hide where they come from? That same Nigeria where in some parts of the muslim north sharia law exists and christians are persecuted. lets celebrated that in Kenya being Onyango is not an obstacle for u receiving a good education, being a Hassan u can become the head of electoral body. Other nations such as rwanda have moved on but after blood and tears. I think that is the only part missing in Kenya and I belive it will come to pass....after which whoever will remain alive will move the country forward.
