  • It seems like the "shaker" area of his guitar has a rougher material/ uneven finish on it, does anyone know anything about this?

  • @ILiveForScience - Yup, Eric had scrapped so much on that area of his Lowden with his acrylic nails that he had worn a rough surface into the top through the finish. On another guitar he had made he had the luthier add a textured panel to that area of the guitar.

  • haha kooooooooooo

  • He taught Newton Faulkner, and worked with Tommy Emanuel and Thomas Leeb, 3 out of 4 of my favourite guitarists, what a great guitarist he was!

  • Louis Johnson does this on bass. Michael Hedges was the "guy".. also RIP. Now you can enjoy Ryan Leblanc.

  • The 4 people who dislike this are clearly a bunch of douche-bags...Eirc Roche = Percussive Guitarist Legend!

  • @abrookes1985 I didn't mean what as a joke

  • @hippylegs A bit shitty..seen as thou I lost my farther in-law to cancer to 4 weeks before my wedding day. But hell if I was that good on acoustic I wouldn't have no problems with people having a little giggle over me.... It's called a sense of humour.

  • @hattersley9181 He died in 2005 of cancer.

    How do you feel now?

  • amazing guitarist and a funny man
