Recorded on May 5, 2010 using a Flip Video camcorder. Video from the New Jersey Libraries Rally to fight budget cuts to the NJ State Library that would cause the elimination of important services such as Interlibrary Loan, Internet access for a large portion of library's. The rally called for opposition to NJ Legislative Bill A2555 which would eliminate minimum dedicated funding to NJ municipal libraries.
This is a recording of the rallying cry or "chant" that was done throughout the rally. The idea of asking for one more dollar represents the fact that just one extra dollar from each NJ citizen would entirely fund the services that would be eliminated with the current cuts being proposed.
