The government earlier in the week promised to investigate and apprehend promoters of bogus recruitment agencies said to be luring unsuspecting young Kenyans to go to Saudi Arabia and other Arab countries, with promises of lucrative employment contracts, mostly as domestic workers. However, reports indicate that a majority of Kenyans working in Saudi Arabia continue to be mistreated, with some employers blatantly refusing to pay them. sally Mbilu reports.

for real,most of saudi are not muslim by faith.there is no sheria in islam religion that,separate a kenyan or filipines e.t.c from fellow muslim.these are saudi but not muslim.

This is an issue the ambassador can not do much about, a lot of the kenyan maids, are from very poor families, and they are easily recruited, they never register or are unable to register with the embassy, but there are also kenyans who work in saudi arabia and are highly respected people, who lived there for decades and have millions of dollars. As someone said in the comments, Saudia Arabia is a big real state owned by one family, they treat they own women like shyt, we shouldnt expect much.

i don't know why anyone would want to go to Saudi Arabia to begin with....eeeish...is it really worth it? ati kutemewa mate....sleep on a cement floor....thrown off the balcony...yawa....not worth any amount of money to be treated like a slave!
