16:26 Is that the sound of you two walking over hundreds of spent shell casings? :)
-
Would love a comparison video between that and 556

Great video, all pleasure no business! I watched it the whole way through. Excellent look at the 300 BLK, I'm really interested in what the ballistics are like.

For the price I would stick with the AK round.

So if I had an 5.56 AR-15, I could just replace it's barrel with a 300 AAC Blackout barrel and start shooting the round without further modifications?

great video hickok, can't wait to get my hands on one of the new Daniel Defense 300 Blackout AR's, its just kinda hard out here in the peoples republic of California...

Very cool. But I would have a second bolt carrier group to keep with that 300 black out upper. The bolts wear with the barrel and I wouldn't want to risk wearing that bolt down switching it from upper to upper and shooting it. Great Idea to get different uppers and I think that cartridge is awesome. But just food for thought. 2nd bolt carrier group :-)

Just bought a 300 Blackout yesterday. Haven't shot it yet because its considered a regulated firearm so I'll get it in about a week. Can't wait to shoot it!

How's that round compare to a 6.8 SPCII?

also sir as my second question would you suggest a 300 aac as a second upgrade to my ar ?
-
Thinking between a 308 or 300 aac sir what would you suggest ? Mainly going to be a range gun for me and my wife, ammo wise and accessories wise what would you suggest ?
I'm very seriously considering one of these uppers. I've got a 556 ar, she's my safe queen still, but ever since I saw this vid I've been thinking about it. And those sure fire mags look nice too! To save some money I'll probly get the cmmg upper. Really shouldn't get the sf mag but it's too tempting. Whoops there goes another $1000, I've got a problem :(

@righyanb, I'm seeing mixed reviews on these Surefire magazines. I'm not sure myself. I bought two of them and am not sure I'm confident in their reliability. I've not tried them with 5.56 yet. It's had to beat a good old 30-rd mag.
