I noticed that exact same thing. I was front row to his left, and I could hear people behind me singing, and I was trying so hard to focus on him, and he just seemed so unbelievably pissed, as you said, the entire night. Kind of ruined the front row experience for me. :(

he seemed really pissed off the entire show. i think he was singing the song differently to throw off the crowd who wouldn't stop trying to sing along.

one of the things he often does at concerts (there are loads of other examples of youtube, traena for instance) is that he unplugs/ switches off the pa system for cannonball, which could account for the way he seems to be singing louder than he normally would.
