yea, way to go mattel, you had single handedly rip offed Hasbros Jem line, and the sad thing is they didn't even TRY to outdo the amazing quality and flexibility of the dolls at the time. They were the same old, stiff legged and armed monstrosities only in horribly designed outfits that could give a 10 year old seizures.

I remember the Christmas of 88 I think it was, my cousins, sis and I all got one of these. I always played my tape. We also got a bouncin' baby to. Boesx anybody remember those. I loved them.

LOL!!! OMG my little cousin got Barbie and Rockers for Christmas 86" and it came with the little cassette and I swear she played that cassette out. I am 35 yrs old now and I STILL have that jingle stuck in my head. LOL!!

& Barbie shows that girls that they can grow up to be anything they want to be from a vet to a teacher. Barbie does it all and has it all! xD What a life she has. Lol! xD & 1 more Q: If Barbie and Jem was either in a fight or singing competion who would win?

Just about everything in the vhs was cheesy yet allot of fun. Wasn't there a banned Barbie toy 1 time b/c 1 of the things she said where: I don't think I'm smart at math or something? Barbie does it all and just for fun I'd watch some of the new Barbie movies (I have 1 of them recorded the 1 with the Pegasus.) & I think it's really good that there making her a positive romodel. I think the best Barbie movies so far are the NutCracker and highschool 1.

Barbie is just a Jem wannabe! and what about Maxie's world? does that make her a Barbie wannabe? and is she related to Barbie in anyway? I always and still wonder about that. Lol! xD And Skipper is Barbie's sister and I remember 1 of Barbie's friend's the most: Courtney. I bought an old video of her going to the moon and everything the fashion music(80's version of The Beatle's song Dance with you was allot of fun to listen to too.) And are Barbie/Ken back together? lol! xD

Barbie and the Rockers were nothing more than a Jem knockoff. The movie was horrible, I had to watch that with my cousin on Thanksgiving when I was 10 years old!
I'm a guy and my wife owns Jem dolls. Jem rules, nuff said.
