garrys mod problem

*UPDATE*
"FIXED"
OK what u will need to do is 1st reinstall your graphics card drivers, if that doesent work then you will need a new graphics card. you will need 1 that uses DirectX 9 or if u realy want to get a good 1 get 1 that uses DirectX 10.
2nd you will need the orange box even tho you may see every thing agein it still uses texturs from HL2 EP2.

*the problem*
When i finishd downloading the gmod 10 update all of my maps where black? please comment back if you know how to fix this problem, if you had this problem or if you do have this same problem.

ok, this happpens to me on every map except for flatgrass and gm_water, I can play wow(world of warcraft) fine so im not sure if it is my graphic card(I don't know alot about comps.) all i wanna do is play on my sb_goonieverse and play SB3, please reply a.s.a.p.,

@DUDEsayDUDE it my be your graphics seeing as wow dosnt need much graphic memory but all so it my just be a case of updating the drivers for your graphics card

how do you update the driver?

find out what your graphics card is called and search for in google so for E.G.

nvidia geforce 7300 drivers

PLEASE HELP ME!!! everytime i start Gmod it shows the loading screen then when its done it turns black but you know when ur cursor crosses like singleplayer that noise that i makes i hear that noise so its like its working but i cant see and when i luckly click to play it goes like yours all black but i dont have all the weapons only tools picture and that blue gun :(!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
