Artist Steve Kaufman discusses his story and his works in The Pop Culture Gallery at the World of Coke is entitled "Celebrating An Icon: The Coca-Cola Bottle in Contemporary Art." At age eight, Steve Kaufman had his first art show at a Jewish Temple in the Bronx. As a student in the School of Visual Arts in 1981, Steve met Andy Warhol and became his assistant at the Factory. Warhol continued to be a source of inspiration for Steves art work throughout the years.

  • I miss you Steve. The World isn't the same since your death & knowing I'll never speak to you again. But, You died like you always said you would Like a rockstar, Ironic really. You cheated death so many times It's hard to believe you're really dead this time.
