@AFV918 not turbo or anything random. Just alternator making it's noise in the camera!

and he really did get very sideways round those corners full credit to him

Yeah, I was thinking the same thing. The steering is obviously out.

Ok if it didn't work the first (4) times..... What makes you think it's going to work the next (6) times.
Sometimes you have to know when to retire, or run the risk of looking like you don't know what you're doing.
But in his defence, he might not have known what he was doing.

@ armandozapata, in reply to your question during a WRC stage (any stage for that matter) if you dont finish you forfit whatever points you had for that rally, in Latvala's case he was only 38 seconds from finfishing 3rd.

he got so fucking bad luck i think he is very fast and good but then crash. i hope he drive good in finland

Just so sad. It was like a nighmare! Guys had done a fantastic job the whole weekend and then taking a line just a few centimetres too in and steering breaks up.
I REALLY hope that Latvala is mentally OK when Rally Finland starts. He has the speed to win, but damn, he just doesn't know to back off when needed. Gotta love that style though. Good old "Maximum attack" style!
