Anton Chekhov "Three Sisters" was written in 1900
Chekhov said: "Requiring literature to dig up a 'pearls' from the pack of villains is tantamount to negating literature altogether. Literature is accepted as an art because it depicts life as it actually is. Its aim is the truth, unconditional and honest... The writer should be just as objective as the chemist ... and acknowledge that manure piles play a highly respectable role in the landscape and that evil passions are every bit as much a part of life as good ones."
please post the rest of this . its interesting.

Wonderful -- if it isn't too much trouble, I (and others, I'm sure) would love to see the rest.

Unbelievable! You've put it on before yesterday, and yesterday I've seen Three Sisters from 1984. It's like deja vu.
And this version is great, also! They are all so young. I wouldn't recognise Jacobi at all!
But I can't find part 1/4!
And would love to see it whole! Is there possibility, like DVD, or so?
