TYLER, TX — About ten years ago, energy drinks had everyone "a buzz."
Soon after, nutritionists and dietitians started warning about the health risks.
Now, a new concern for those in the medical field-- relaxation drinks.
KETK spoke with Trinity Mother Frances Clinical Dietitian Tami Lawrence, RD-LD and relaxation drink lovers about the supposed negative effects.
The drinks started up in Japan about six years ago. The companies who make these drinks claim they don't contain any alcohol... but they supposedly do include some ingredients that are known to cause drowiness and even induce sleep.
ya'll need to try Bula! Best tasting relaxation drink.
