@sexyerric you would throw about 20 to 30 feet more. it helped me that much cuz u can turn faster and hit the positions alot better. ive heard that they helped as much as 60 feet cuz u learn the technique better to. so u never really know. you can possibly hit 200. there is a strong chance
The only reason this technique would look "weird" is because it's one of the closest techniques to being perfect... which when compared to 99% of other high schoolers forms.... that is weird.
I've seen him throw at centenial last season, and im still in the dark about how he gets that distance. He's big but not big enough to muscle it that far. his technique looked weird at first, but i guess he's on to something.

im truly amazed that he doesnt switch his feet with a block like that. he really plants that leg and gets his hips into it. thats impressive
