Jonas Brothers Story - Chapter Three - Good To Have You Back

*Two days after,at the Jonas s house.*
MRS.JONAS:Nick,time to take your syrop.
NICK:Mom,Im a lot better now.I—
Nick was inturrupted by a sneeze.After seeing his mother s look, he laid back down in his bed in defeat before swallowing the syrop.
NICK:Mom,its just a cold,its no big deal.
MRS.JONAS:Nick,its the fifth cold you had this month.Your temperature was over 100 degrees yesterday,you still have a little of a fever and youre too weak to stand up or walk.Just let me take care of you,okay?
Nick sighed.He knew his mother was only trying to help him and that he actually needed that help.
NICK:Okay.Thanks Mom,he replied with a sad smile.
MRS.JONAS:Dont worry,youre going to be okay soon,she reassured him.
Nick coughed.He didnt have enough energy to continue the conversation and was already drifting into sleep.
MRS.JONAS:I ll come to see you later.Get some rest and gain back some strenght,she said, kissing Nick s warm forehead before leaving the room.
*The next morning,Nick arrives in the kitchen.*
FRANKIE:NIIIICK!YOURE ALIVE!he yelled happily,jumping off his chair and running to his big brother s side to give him a hug.Nick almost fell under the sudden embrace,but sucessfully stood stil.
NICK:Hey buddy he said softly,leaning over carefully to hug his little brother.
FRANKIE:Mom said youre sick,he said sadly.
Nick was about to answer when his vision got kind of blurry.He began to feel dizzy again.As he struggled to stop teetering,Kevin and Joe entered the house,back from the grocery store.
KEVIN:Hey,hey,take it easy,Kevin said soothingly,starting to worry when he saw Nick. He lifted him up in his arms and Joe helped him ease Nick on the living room s couch.
JOE:Do you feel alright?What s wrong?
NICK:It s just that my chest hurts and I got kinda dizzy,he answered,his voice cracking a bit.
Mrs.Jonas entered the living room.
MRS.JONAS:Nick, you should be in bed,she said,worried.Realizing Nick looked exhausted and weak again,she took the phone.
MRS.JONAS:You look horrible.Im calling the doctor so he can check on you.Boys,can you take him upstairs in his room and make him lie down?
Kevin and Joe nodded.They headed upstairs, Nick in Kevin s arms They helped him lie down in his bed.
JOE:The doctor s coming soon.You should get some rest,he said,stroking Nick s hair gently. Kevin and Joe then left the room,letting Nick go to sleep.
* At the end of the day, after the doctor came by. *
JOE:So,how is he doing Mom?
MRS.JONAS:He s fine.The doctor gave him some supplements and vitamins he s going to take to fortify his immune system.His blood sugar was just a little low,nothing to worry about.Nick was just weak because of the fever he had.
Kevin sighed in relief.
KEVIN:So,in how much time will he be able to do music again?
MRS.JONAS:The tour is going to have towait for awhile,but I think Nick is already writting more songs.He was writting lyrics earlier.
JOE:So he s okay?
MRS.JONAS:Yes.He even counted the socks in his drawer after the doctor left.
JOE:So he really is okay,you convinced me,Joe laughed.
MRS.JONAS:He was awake when I left.You guys can go see him if you want.
KEVIN:Sure!
The two boys ran upstairs into Nick s room.
NICK:Oh,hey guys!he smiled, putting his notebook aside.
Nick looked much better then in the morning.Joe and Kevin hopped on Nick’s bed to give him a hug.
NICK:Huh,guys, it would be better if I could breath,he laughed.Kevin and Joe letted him go and Nick sneezed.
NICK:Oh ya, I still have a cold though.But what do you want,I can t just have it all,he laughed. Kevin and Joe smiled.
JOE:It s good to have you back.

in one of the picture in the video you see this picture of nick and joe smiling so big. see beofre they used to smile alot, but now they dont smile at all.
