@pennilesscripple , how is buying local/handmade/organic at the expense of others? Also, some members of the"lower class" people seem to find the money to buy quite the more expensive things in clothing and other fashions like technology. It's apathy to make the exaggeration that it's so expensive. Buying local, and not from the corporate agribusiness n' such can be done by most people. And, you can also grow your own... empower yourself. (and take some responsibility)

No one claims that truth is propaganda, but truth is not something that we can expect from Fox News, Disney or any other corporate interest. This is expressly because their raison d'etre is making money and surviving: like a wild beast, a multi-national corporation owes no allegiance to any nation or social code, and it exists only for its own immediate need.

When an argument appeals strictly to an audience's fears and emotions (like advertising does), it is by rhetorical definition "propaganda". You won't find that in a dictionary. That's Aristotle, biatch...
