Just south of Baraboo, Wisconsin sits the world's largest scrap sculpture - The Forevertron on an unassuming patch of land across from the old Badger Army Ammunition Plant. However, it is more than just a sculpture, it's a larger than life representation of one man's unconventional and extraordinary imagination. Tom Every, a scrap metal artisan who calls himself "Dr. Evermor." The Forevertron itself is a fantastic structure on its own, however surrounding the monolithic metal contraption are hundreds of smaller sculptures of amazing detail. You'll find everything from giant insects, to an entire miniature baseball game, to the magnificent 70+ member "bird band" all constructed of salvaged parts of this and that. Half the fun of visiting is attempting to identify what each whimsical creature is made of! I highly recommend visiting The Forevertron if you're ever passing through Wisconsin. It's only a little more than 10 miles south of the Dells, and well worth the detour! A 30 second video isn't nearly enough to do it justice.
