@SLRengines - it could happen anytime... the only reason 2012 is mentioned is because a lot of things predicted during the end of that year seem to follow a lot of the islamic prophecies... again, no one can say when this will happen, but at least you are now aware of the signs and you will know how to prepare yourself.

@sipraomer assalam 'aleykom. ya akhy a mufti or sheikh isnt a soothsayer and any person who tells u that he knows what will happen inthe future is either doing guesswork or trying to gain sme wordly benefit. only allah knows the future. what we have to do is worship allah as he comanded us to, command the good, forbid the evil, stuy islam, study the qor'an and understand it, and practicing the 5 pillars of islam. salam

Brother do you have access to a mufti or experienced sheikh who can tell that something is going to happen at the end of this year or within two to three years because some people are saying that the time is very very near and they say that it could happen at the end of this year or maximum within three to four years.
