Stop Motion Drum and Guitar

Stop motion is cool.

Not too long ago my buddy Aidan (the guy playing the guitar in this video) showed a video to me of this dude playing drums and piano in stop motion (it's relatively well known... here's the URL anyway): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VtHQ4C4v4q0&feature=related

And I was like: "dude, we have to cover this or something." So we did... we used a few of his elements mixed in with some of our own original stuff, and about a month after viewing his video this is what we came up with.

Hope you all enjoy it! We put many hours... well days actually into making this happen :)

Also mad props to Owen Coffin for playing his guitar and helping us with this video even though he didn't get put in it (this video was for an assembly at school and time restrictions didn't allow me to edit his guitar parts/I want to move on with a new project).

- All sounds you hear are the raw sounds captured by the stereo mic on my camera, no adjustments have been made to the original sound files besides the cutting and arranging of the clips to make teh music.

Video was showcased at the Canterbury 2011 Holiday Blockbuster assembly.
