igur Rós have confirmed two separate but related releases: a DVD called Heima (November 20th, 2007) and a double CD set titled Hvarf / Heim (November 6, 2007). Both will be issued in the U.S. on XL Recordings (www.xlrecordings.com).

Heima-which translates as both "At Home" and "Homeland"-- chronicles a series of free concerts Sigur Rós played in their native Iceland over the course of summer 2006. Combining both the biggest and smallest shows of their career, the entire tour was filmed, and now provides a unique insight into one of the world's most fascinating and inscrutable bands captured live while exploring their natural habitat like never before. The film is currently being edited by Nick Fenton with direction from the Oscar-nominated Dean DeBlois.

  • @mazingermetal I don't remember why I left that comment, therefore I don't remember if I wanted to be sarcastic, ironic or not.

I don't know about your English. Haven't heard you speaking it. Only writing it. Your written English is OK.

  • @AndyMKordo first comment seems to me ironic (as if you said that spanish greeks and icelandics dont speak english well). But it doesnt matter, you can see my english is not pretty good indeed. Regards from Spain.

  • @mazingermetal How do I think Spanish people speak English? They speak pretty decent English

  • @AndyMKordo no me has respondido...

  • @mazingermetal Well you live in Spain, so you don't know how American think. Everyone who speaks Spanish is called a Spanish or Hispanic or Latino in the US, we barely use "Colombian", "Ecuadorean" , etc.

And I've been to Spain and everyone I talked to was speaking Spanish.

    And you speak Spanish too.

  • @AndyMKordo i used to think people from colombia were called colombians. Anyway, how do you think spanish (from Spain) speak english?

  • @mazingermetal Well I had to make that statement because here in the US when you say you're Spanish it means you're some strange illegal alien from Mexico or some drug dealer from Colombia.

  • @AndyMKordo can you be spanish if you are not from Spain?

  • Icelandic people speak English like Greeks and Spanish people from Spain.

  • That little cleared out patch in the forest looks like the perfect venue to see sigur ros!
