A bit of trivia. This was the only time in the history of the Tonight Show that Johnny's Theme was played for someone other than Carson. It was never played for the guest hosts. Johnny's
Theme was actually a song written by Paul Anka for Annette Funicello - "It's Really Love" - they dropped the lyrics and jazzed it up for Johnny's Theme. Carson and Anka split the royalties for every time it was played.

Thanks! Love Callas. He was banned from the show by Carson after he shoved Carson during some crazy schtick. Does anyone have that video?
