The Teng paper is a kind of specialty paper for seal copy and transfer. This paper is made of refined wild vine or rattan bark fibers. The toughness of this traditional transfer paper is so rare that cannot be found among all other papers. Due to the complexity of the manufacturing process of this paper, few craftsmen has mastered this skill, and it has disappeared for many years in the market. Until recent years with the upsurge of seal cutting art learning with some old paper craftsmen guided the young papermakers in an effort to continue this special skill. Now seal copy and transfer paper has become available again. The Tengzhi Rattan Paper paper is as thin as onion skin with supreme toughness, it is mainly used for seal carving for design copy, transfer, and rubbing, and may also used to repair paintings and calligraphy and ancient books. It's a must-have paper for Seal engraving fans.
