Runescape Iron Mining With Brawling Gloves - 140k+ Xp/H

In this video I gain 14,700 xp in 6 minutes, which is equivalent to 147k xp/hour. This is not the max speed - I am lvl 70 Mining in the video and it's almost impossible to record 6 minutes of video without clicking a hobgoblin at some point or mis-clicking because of how click-intensive it is, but I guess 150k-160k is possible.

This might not be the best way to use Brawlers - Addy/Mith is slower but the brawlers last longer. I didn't have much time to test because there are only 2 Bounty Worlds (+1) and so there is always at least 1 person on each world mining Addy/Mith, and there are only enough rocks for 1 person. Nobody does Iron so this is a great alternative.

Only World 18 can be used, and it has to be a peak(ish) time to get Iron to respawn fast enough. Otherwise, you have to use 4 rocks which is slower. I'd suggest doing something else or trying Mith/Adamant if 3 rocks aren't spawning in time because using the 4th rock will slow you down by 50%+.

Glory is in inventory so you get less gems. Varrock Armour 3 and Lava Titan helps. You should use an Enhanced Excalibur instead of monkfish to heal - I realised this after making the video.

EDIT: I've done some more research and it seems that mining Mith is almost as good, as good, or better, than mining Iron depending on your Mining level. I seem to get 80-90k xp/hour with my Mining level in the low 70s. The rate where Mith would be worth it because of how long the Brawlers last would be 80k-90k. It seems that Iron is slightly worth it in the low 70s, and probably about the same in the high 70s. Therefore, I'd recommend mining Mith at lvl 80+ Mining. (The mining levels stated are when you have a Lava Titan - otherwise you'll need to get a higher level). Adamant is far too slow at this level, but maybe at 80+ or 90+, Adamant could become worth it.

@jakecollins3 100k experience??? They last nowhere near that long! In fact, they last for 214 iron ores. In this video I get 140k xp/h which is 1000 iron ores an hour. Therefore it would take 1 hour to get 3 SC pickaxes and 0.642 hours to use them, taking 1.642 hours total. Each iron ore gives 280 xp with brawlers/SC pickaxe therefore giving 179,760 XP in the 1.642 hours. WIthout using SC picks, you'd get 229,880 xp in that time. I think that proves that SC pickaxes are nowhere near worth it...

@minifootyguy It takes 20 minutes to get a SC pick, in this video he got 140k exp/hr...one pick lasts 100k experience, thus giving you 300k exp for an hour of picks. taking 2 hours in total, you gain an extra 10k xp/hr from it. and with penace horn this is greatly improved. But penace horn isn't worth the time.

@jakecollins3 And by the same logic you could say that sacred clay pickaxes are better than dragon pickaxes for regular mining since they give x2 XP as opposed to regular x1 XP.

Obviously this isn't the case because you have to take into account the time it takes to get the sacred clay pickaxes vs the time it saves.

Notice how I never actually denied that sacred clay pickaxes could make this faster - I asked you to prove it since you were making the claim with no evidence whatsoever...
