Bolo Yeung, is a former competitive bodybuilder and a martial arts film actor. he is best known for his performances as Bolo in Enter the Dragon and as Chong Li in Bloodsport, and also for his many appearances in martial arts A-movies.

When I saw Chong Li in Bloodsport, it made me think of the way Liu Kang looked in MK3.
I wonder....
Was Liu Kang's MK3 costume supposed to be based on Chong Li's appearance in Bloodsport (or just Bolo Yeung in general)?
I know Johnny Cage is supposed to be based on Jean Claude Van Damme (who plays Frank Dux in Bloodsport who had a costume similar to Johnny Cage's MK1 costume but without the sunglasses & did a full split & crotch punch).

@heartdead2 LMFAO! Let me klear this up right now. Bolo did not play Liu Kang for Mortal Kombat 3 or UMK3. In the original Mortal Kombat and MK II he was played by Ho-Sung Pak. In MK3, UMK3 and MK Trilogy he was played by Eddie Wong (the guy in the video). Robin Shou played him in the movies. This video made me lol Cheers :)
