This is part 1 of a 2 part video clip taken at Fort Benning Georgia on October 8th 2009 while attending a basic training graduation ceremony for the soldiers of the 192d Infantry Brigade 3/47th. My son Robert (PV2 Haas) has since been sent to Fort Sill Oklahoma for his advanced training in Artillery.

I graduated from Echo 2-58 "House of Pain" in 2008. I have now have 1 deployment to the Afghan under my belt.

I was soldier of the cycle at this graduation. I'm marching behind the drill seargents with the flags. Echo 2/47 2nd platoon Titans. APG and soldier of the cycle. Pvt.King 13 fox. Roughnecks lead the way HOOAH!!!!
