@BluffMeYouWillNot vegetarianism/veganism are number best ways of lowering your cholesterol as HDL occurs almost exclusively in animal derived products and your body always produces enough cholesterol on its own for you to stay healthy. :)

Is it just me, or does anyone else think that, if vegan, and gotta take "fish oil pills", that it might be a hint that you are wrong about being a vegan?

Thanks for taking the time to make this video. It was clear and precise. I will be calling my doctor tomorrow to inquire about some natural supplements. However, if they are not an DO. they usually wont recommend anything all natural. I'll see! Thanks again.

Great advice. It's all about eating healthy, exercise, and dietary supplements. For more information on some of the dietary supplements you mentioned like omega 3 fish oil and red yeast rice google Real Natural Remedies for only the highest grade natural ingredient supplements formulated by a cardiologist.

I appreciate your sharing your knowledge. I will go to your website. I am open to other's opinions. I'm very much a follower of Dr. McDougall's suggestions and Dr. Esselstyn's who wrote Preventing and Reversing Heart Disease. I'm curious how you feel about especially Dr. McDougall's opinion to not use supplements and no fats.

The supplements I used have worked for me, but I stress to anyone and everyone to check with their medical professional before trying any drastic change in diet or fitness. But eating healthy and exercising are always a good thing...
