  • You sir need to clean up your language, and spend more time reading books than posting on the web. You understand that at the time this car was made by the factory the most powerful JDM WRX models left with equal length headers, and this sound, stock? As for the rims, they are Enkei RPM-2s, which in their split spoke design have held up against some pretty nasty road conditions for years. Now take some sensitivity training, or at a minimum, just grow up.

  • they do sell unequal larger diameter headers. you get the power without losing the sound

  • You do not know what you are talking about. Larger diameter is one thing, but what EL headers do is smooth out the exhaust pulses. If this so badly lost its "Subaru" sound, then why does Subaru ship EL exhaust cars?

  • i know it adds like 25 hp but it isnt worth being a honda

  • You would have to look a long time for a Honda that would be the equal of this ride.

  • cool, now your subaru sounds like my fully built turbo integra, i got a magnaflow muffler and it sounds hard, not some high pitched weedwacking shit like most other shit hondas

  • The boxer engine isn't what makes the characteristic rumble noise, it's that fact that some nut decided to loop the exhaust runner up around the front of the engine and back down the other side defying any sense of efficient exhaust routing. The unequal length header does produce one of the sexiest engine sounds in existence, so we let Subaru get away with it. Give me some 2.5" stainless and a TIG welder and I could make a civic make the same noise.

  • man, i feel like my 2.0 with turbo back sounds way deeper and meaner. I love my boxer rumble.

  • to the owner of this video...id like to know what kind of education you have.

    cause your very well spoken.

    Also i likes your auto!

  • sounds nice bro!... is funny to see people saying that the rumble is caused by the subaru engine hahaha, I agree with you, the s202, 3, 4 and the type Ra-R come with EL headers... because they are way more effiecient.

how ur car running ? all good? you changed from uel header to el header? did you notice the increase in power/response?

    Regads

  • shitties sounding subaru ever!

  • Why do you have to put your hands 3 and 9 position to rev it in park/neutral

  • subaru may sell cars with el headers but its just not the same. i like my scooby to rumble not burn rice. :/

  • @scooterforever I dont think the HP gain is worth trading in the sound. If you wanna pick up 25 hp just get a tune or somn like that. I love the sound unequal length headers produce. That signature sound enables me to identify a subaru without even seeing it. Hey its your car do whatever you want with it, but ill never put EL in my subie.. not even in the trunk

  • @blueeyez24

too right sir. and some1 should teach him how to rev a car
