@IBZ1965 I agree about Peter, but you should check out Ace's work over the last few years since he's been sober. He's playing with more energy than anyone in the current KISS lineup, and is 10 times better live than Tommy is.

@Helgomant Interesting. You're right in that there is nowhere near the energy level now compared to the 70's. Having said this, I give them props for doing the best they could on the reunion tour. IMHO it's been all downhill since then. Yes, Eric and Tommy are more capable players than Peter and Ace (these days). But it's still NOT KISS. I think they should do one last huge show with Ace and Pete and wrap it up.

I saw all three shows at MSG that year! 1st row near Gene 1st night! 2nd row Right Center near Paul! Truly some of the most influencal shows I have ever seen! I WAS at these shows! 1st night Gene stopped the ushers who ran into the front rows and were throwing people out because the crowd pused forward. He kneeled at the foot of the stage and pounded it with his fist screaming "NO' at the ushers and they stopped! It was like Moses parting the Red Sea I will never forget that!
