  • Hey Bill, its good to see someone who recognises the old Dundee registration plates on the cars. My first car i got as a fresh faced 17 year old was an old Ford Cortina mark1 with the reg LTS 501 J and I still remember it fondly today.

Seen as your from the Menzieshill area Bill, I think you will enjoy the picture taken of The Linoleum Works at 42 seconds. I used to pass this bulding on my way to Charleston during the 70's, it was a right creepy place which lay derelict for many years!

  • Thanks for the positive comments folks. More videos like this are on the way so stay tuned!

  • The linoleum works were over the hill form me Willie, I grew up in Ninewells, right next to the river.

My first car was an Austin A35 GTS 730.

In Ninewells we had a shop, a smiddy,a tram terminus and two garages!

    Only one garage remains.
