Thank you. America has a bad memory. Anyone over 30 think back. do you remember what measles, mumps or chicken pox was like? did anyone die from it that you know personally? did anyone in your kindergarten class have autism? we've traded basically harmless diseases for life long retardation. sick.

My twins showed signs of Autism before MMR. I have Aspergers Syndrome but never had MMR- instead my hearing was damaged by having mild measles as a child. Even if vaccines were never invented Autism would still exist.

This is just utter nonsense. Autism is not caused chemically, it is in the DNA of the person from conception. It causes abnormal neurological structure of the brain. I have studied this subject in great detail and also I have an Autism spectrum disorder called Asperger Syndrome and I sure as hell didn't get it from some vaccine.

U.S Teachers & schools treated my son for learning disability. I told them if he has that why he learns? I found out he was Aspergers Autism. He is very smart & now he learns better than normal kids. Autistic is not retardation it stops you from speaking & comprehension but when they get older their speech gets better. Now my son he speaks normal as anyone but he still has sensitivity to noise & fear of darkness. I know what these family went through. We cannot give up it will get better. Faith!

@amerz1 Jesus Christ what have these ornery bastards done and i may not be over 30 or even 30 but i know for sure coming from an older family ive never even heard of it until a few years ago and that was on tv its so sad and all i can do is cry my little brother has adhd and many i know are diagnosed with autistic like disorders.....what a shame ....thanks for this comment

@amerz1 I am autistic myself and I know full well where I got it from. My own dad. And he most probably from his. And you know what? I'm fine with it. My brain is just as valuable as the next and though it's wired differently it still gets the job done. But apparantly my life should not have been. Apparantly I should be 'eliminated' or at least normalized. Our right to be is unimportant and our voices do not count. But we can and will speak for ourselves and let people know we are not a tragedy.
